MIFA / Miami Fiber Triennial

An institutional identity brought to life through artists, exhibitions and a citywide program.

My role
Artistic Director & Curator

Year
2022–26
Location / market
Miami, Florida

The idea

Build a cultural platform people can take part in.

The challenge

Give an arts institution a more coherent public presence while building the programs, community and operational structure that would make its identity meaningful.

The approach

Connect the institutional rebrand to the full experience: digital communications, print, signage, exhibitions and public programs. The Miami Fiber Triennial extended that approach across six venues, bringing a shared narrative to a citywide cultural program.

My contribution

As Artistic Director and Curator, I led the institutional rebrand, communications, exhibition logistics and production. I grew the resident-artist community from 2 to 24, built a waitlist and coordinated the triennial across six venues with participating institutions and collaborators.

The work, in detail

Exhibition photographs, the triennial campaign identity and a visitor map show the relationship between communications, place and the public experience.
